IHHE Request for Ideas |
Got an idea? The UR Institute for Human Health and the Environment (IHHE) would love to hear about it!
Request for Ideas is an initiative developed by the Institute for Human Health and the Environment (IHHE) to expand upon the content and variety of projects and activities that we support. IHHE's mission is to foster the discovery, innovation, and transformation of ideas and information into actions. We believe that developing and supporting a thriving, diverse, inclusive team of individuals will lead to high-impact efforts related to understanding how environmental factors shape human health at the local, regional, and international levels.
The RFI program is intended to help you launch a new idea for a program, educational oppurtunity, community collaboration, symposium, workshop, etc. Please note that the Request for Ideas is not meant for research projects; please see the IHHE Research Catalyst Program for more details on a funding mechanism meant for research or statistical investigation.
To submit a Request for Idea to the IHHE, please fill out the survey below or send a one-page document to Anisah Mercado at Anisah_Mercado@URMC.rochester.edu.
Applications are due June 15, 2025.
Your idea won't be ready by June 15? No worries! We anticipate another application deadline Nov 15, 2025.
Thank you!
